Job Description

Located in our Head office in Oslo, Norway, you will be responsible for expanding our market offering in different markets in Europe.  You will be responsible for engaging with grid operators, flexibility service providers, traders and asset owners in the energy industry. The goal is to establish new flexibility markets for trading flexibility, implement digital marketing, drive sustainable financial growth and forge strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and partners. 

The Business Development Manager will work in the marketing and sales team and report directly to the CEO. You will collaborate with senior management as well as internal and external stakeholders. You will also be required to contribute to the overall development of the company culture, vision and mission.  

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Build a digital marketing strategy in close coordination with the team.
  • Build, maintain and grow social channels such as LinkedIn and X.
  • Engage with various user groups and industry bodies.
  • Drive the growth of the company.
  • Promote the company’s products and services.
  • Use Salesforce to track and manage the sales cycle.
  • Attend conferences and seminar.

Requirements and Skills:

  • This is a European role and the ability to travel is essential, as a result a valid passport and the ability to work in Europe is a must. Experience in sales and marketing in financial markets or energy sector.
  • Experience with developing and implementing a digital marketing strategy.
  • Familiar with SEO, social medial channels, and other aspects of digital marketing
  • Fluent in English (one other language a plus but not essential). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build rapport.
  • Self-starter, with good time management and planning skills.
  • Minimum 3-5 yrs experience.
