Job Summary
Lead project specific Supply Chain team and activities, including all contract, procurement, materials and logistics activities for the project. Ensure effective and consistent work execution and that all components of the Supply Chain function are integrated across the project areas of responsibility. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead development and execution of contracting and procurement strategies and plans in support of overall capital project strategies and project needs.
Oversee main contractors and procurement activity, including post contract award administration, variation orders, amendments, extensions and claims.
Provide oversight in sourcing and selection processes of major contracts, incl. tendering, bid evaluations and contract award.
Manage capital commitments.
Review and implement Supply Chain procedures and provisions to ensure maximum value to the project.
Implement materials and logistics plan for the project.
Management of Supply Chain interfaces (purchasing, expediting, logistics, materials management and contracts execution issues).
Implement strategies and tactics to add value and minimize cost and risk to the project.
Ensure compliance with corporate legal, ethics, regulatory, insurance, finance, tax and HSE requirements related to Supply Chain activities.
Utilize contract and procurement tools established, i.e. GEP SMART, Magnet JQS, etc.
Accountable for close-out of all procurement activities.
Represent the Supply Chain function both internally and externally.
Ensure execution of all activities within assigned scope and ensure timely requests are made for deviations.
Work with Project Managers to ensure timely resolution of contract claims and disputes.
Ensure contractors’ procurement/purchasing plans and activities align with project milestones and needs.
Authorities:
Expenditure authority as defined within the limits of the applicable BU ALM Authorities.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Degree level in relevant disciplines.
Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant experience.
Experience:
Strong Supply Chain Management functional background (10-15 years) Current/ relevant Capital Projects experience Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management systems and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience: Execution of subsea and topside modification projects
