Position Summary

Prysmian Norge aims to be the best in class when it comes to both product and service. We continuously collaborate cross function to optimize our portfolio and be relevant to our client needs. In Norway we have a strong sales team who work close with our clients to understand their needs and explore new product ranges. We are now looking for a newly graduated person, in the beginning of their career to fill an internship for 7 months. The Internship will give a unique opportunity to develop your skills in several parts of the sales team. You will collaborate cross function with our Commercial sales team, focusing on market analysis, as well as our contract and bid department providing our clients with support related to quotations and deliveries.

 

The main duties and deliveries can be

Within sales:

  • Support Commercial sales team with detailed analysis and knowledge of the defined market(s), its characteristics and trends, the relevant clients, competitors, and other market players.
  • Attain detailed knowledge of the product and service portfolio relevant to the defined market to support overall market strategy.
  • Through data analysis and IT acumen, strive for sales process improvement and optimization
  • Attain thorough knowledge of specific client's business, their challenges and needs.
  • Support implementation of analysis with relevant sales responsible and tender department.
  • Global tender specific work for key clients within the different business unit.
  • Sales controlling


Within contract and bid:

  • Preparing and sending out quotes for pricing and deliveries.
  • Handling and preparing calculations for larger frame agreements and projects
  • Provide service and support to our clients related to technical questions
  • Maintaining price lists, both internal and external.
  • Update and maintain price lists and other internal reporting
  • Giving forecast to stocked items on monthly sales
  • Advising on stock items and SLOBS


You should ideally have:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or another relevant field
  • Fluent skills in both Norwegian and English
  • Strong data analytical and mathematical skills
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Technical know-how and experience
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
  • Strive to be efficient and find simple and easy solutions
  • Team-player and good co-operation skills
  • Identify opportunities, synergies, and new effective way of working
  • Ability to work full-time during the internship period
