Responsibilities:

analysing mechanical and structural components using analytical and engineering methods in close collaboration with high-calibre engineers from other disciplines
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements and exceed client expectation
lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development
all other duties as relevant to the post

Qualifications:

BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering. Long, relevant experience can to some extent replace education
minimum 8 years experience in a similar role
strong expertise in software tools such as ANSYS and SolidWorks
good knowledge and understanding of NORSOK and DNV-standards
experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred, but civil engineering experience will also be considered
very good communication skills in English, both oral and written

Since its start-up in January 2018, Oil-Tech has supplied smart solutions of high quality to demanding clients all over the world. The company delivers engineering services, development of prototypes as well as constructing and supplying complete machines. In the beginning, the main focus was on providing services and equipment within oil and gas, but in the last two years this has evolved to include the entire energy sector, fish farming, CO2 -handling as well as the space industry.

The company is part of the NOS Group (NOS Rental, NOS Service, NOS Chemicals and NOS Electro) and is located between Sandnes and Stavanger.

The budget for 2024 is 60 million NOK and there are currently 17 highly skilled employees with both mechanical and electrical background. The owners of the company have big plans for the coming years and growth is one of them.

Oil-Tech and the rest of the NOS Group are moving to modern, refurbished offices by the sea in Dusavik in the near future.
