From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Norway with locations like Stavanger/Bergen/Trondheim/Kristiansund is looking for EIT Engineers who can help us succeed.

We are looking for personnel within the following fields:

Electrical
Instrument
SAS/Automation
Telecom
Cyber Security

We think you should have some of the following:

Higher technical education at bachelor and master level or technical vocational school/certificate of apprenticeship
Ability to work independently in all phases of the project; through study to execution phases
Experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea
Knowledge of governing regulations and standards; ASME, NORSOK etc.
Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements
Good experience in as-builts of tags and drawings.
Participate in review/verification of all produced SAS deliveries within discipline. Ensure the quality of SAS documentations.
Network design skills, including fiber optic and network cabling.
Verification of SAS documents such as SCD, Alarm classification, software report, HMI documents etc.
Experienced with IEC 62443 framework for Cyber Security in Industrial Automation and Control Systems
Applicants must have good oral and written skills in English and new employees from foreign countries must be willing to attend training in the Norwegian language.
Work location is Norway (rotation plan not possible)
