NOV Energy Equipment is seeking a Software Engineer to strengthen our software development team. Our product portfolio is a well-established set of advanced products for automation, safety, and monitoring systems. Our clients expect on-time and well tested software before installation and commissioning onboard the rigs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project delivery for equipment upgrades.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Develop, test, and verify software products and features.
• Work with customers during software testing. 
• Provide support to our field engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Cybernetics, Mechatronics, Computer science, or similar
• Relevant experience may compensate for missing education.
• Good written and verbal communications skills

Working knowledge in the following fields are required:

• PLC Programming using Siemens Simatic S7, Tia Portal
• PLC Programming using TwinCat for Beckhoff controllers.
• Field experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Experience with programming control systems.

Working knowledge in one or more fields is beneficial.

• C++/C#
• Git
