We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Norway with locations like Stavanger/Bergen/Trondheim/Kristiansund is looking for Piping Engineers who can help us succeed.


We are looking for personnel within the following fields:

• Pipe Design
• Pipe Support
• Pipe check
• Pipe stress
• Jobsetting

We think you should have some of the following:

• Higher technical education at bachelor and master level or technical vocational school/certificate of apprenticeship
• Ability to work independently in all phases of the project; through study to execution phases
• Experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea
• Knowledge of governing regulations and standards; ASME, NORSOK etc.
• Experience in pipe support design to ensure a clash-free design is mandatory
• Experience in structural analysis and calculations of pipe supports using input from stress-engineers
• Good knowledge of E3D, general computer technology and knowledge of piping design principles
• Applicants must have good oral and written skills in English and new employees from foreign countries must be willing to attend training in the Norwegian language.
• Work location is Norway (rotation plan not possible)
