Føn Energy Services are searching for Project Manager and Project Director

Føn Energy Services is a joint venture between the Norwegian industrial companies Akastor and IKM with the ambition of building a globally leading service provider in the energy sector by 2030. We currently serve the traditional energy, onshore wind, and offshore wind segments. We aim to achieve our growth by entering new segments, recruiting the best people, investing in growth, and differentiating through leading edge digital solutions. Today, Føn has 80 employees, and access to several thousand technicians and engineers through its owners.

We are experiencing an increased demand for our services, and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Director to join our team. We are also seeking multiple Project Managers The positions are all based in Tananger, and remote working solutions will not be considered.

Purpose of the Positions

• Lead individual projects and portfolios of projects within oil & gas, maritime and wind (scope, time, cost, quality, risk etc.)
• Act as day-to-day contact point for customers
• Mange multiple project managers (Project Director)
• Plan and optimize internal resource allocation
• Report to the management team
• Identify commercial opportunities with customers
• Be responsible for Risk Management and Quality Management for a portfolio of projects
• Act as ambassador for Føn Energy Services AS abroad
• Contribute towards the overall growth of Føn Energy Services
• Ensure processes are implemented and followed across the organization

Professional Experience / Qualifications

• Relevant technical education
• Univercity degree for Project Directors
• Experience in managing projects
• Good communication skills
• The ability to think commercially and identify potential sales opportunities
• Interest and drive to work in a growth company
• Experience / understanding from offshore and / or O&G / Maritime industry / Wind
• Experience with cranes and lifting equipment is an advantage
