We are now looking for a new Senior Buyer to join our Stavanger team and help us in our mission to #powerthechange.


What will you be doing?

• As a Senior Buyer working within Electrification, Maintenance and Modification projects, you will become part of a large professional team and culture that works together to succeed
• You will join a dedicated team of Buyers and learn the procurement methods as you go in close cooperation with the engineering disciplines
• We experience that the best way to learn is through on the job training and encourage you to be curious and ask questions
• Our Buyers provide commercial and contract expertise to ensure that goods and services are delivered in compliance with procedures and business policy
• You will establish, maintain and follow-up strategies, budgets, inquiries and contracts for dedicated procurement packages and contribute to meeting the overall project plan
• Interaction with suppliers all over the world, maintaining good and ethical supplier relations will be part of the daily work
• Possibility to contribute to an improvement culture within procurement and functions across locations

We think you should have:

• If you want to develop your professional skills, be part of a team that support each other, share experiences, and always looks for improvements, you will thrive in this role
• You probably have a bachelor or master’s degree and some years experience in similar role
• The role requires strong commercial skills and to us this means, knowing the business, the ability to build trust and be clear on expectations
• Experience from oil & gas projects is an advantage, but you will be given training and all the tools you need to adapt
• Experience within project execution will come in handy, as well as being business and market oriented
• You value cooperation, communication and teamwork, are proactive and likes to work in a structured way
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both orally and written
