Your Challenge

As a Java Developer at Swedbank Pay, you'll work with complex payment services in a Nordic environment. As a part of the Card Processing team you work with a dynamic technology stack Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Spring cloud, Consul, Envoy, Let encrypt, Redhat, Azure DevOps, Grafana, Prometheus. We like to try new technologies and adapt technology to what we develop. Due to the industry we operate in, we work based on regulations and stay up-to-date on the latest in IT security.

The Team and Workplace

You'll be part of the Card Processing team in Oslo, which consists of additional developers, testers and product owner. We are an autonomous team and makes our own decisions, including the handling of daily tasks and responsibilities and the creation of work processes to complete those tasks.

The Oslo office is located at Kongens gate 6. It provides many things – including a restaurant in the building and a stimulating environment where creativity thrives. The work is done according to a hybrid remote model.

About You

We are looking for a curious Developer with a genuine interest in software development and agile deliveries. We are looking for a person who is at the beginning of their career or has been working for a while and is looking for new challenges. Previous experience in programming (preferably Java) and frameworks as Springboot is a plus.

As a person, you enjoy working in an environment characterized by teamwork and are happy to take the initiative to learn new things. Being able to communicate fluently in English and a Nordic language is a requirement.
