The PDP PRD FE Subsea Facilities (SF) sector is a competence and resource unit, responsible for all Subsea Facilities resources in PRD’s project portfolio between DG0 and DG4 within Oil and Gas and Low Carbon solutions. Our sector's main task is to provide projects with project engineers, task- and project managers; and to develop our personnel's competence across the technical disciplines, within project development and leadership.

The Subsea Facilities sector is responsible for all disciplines within PRD’s SURF EPCI project teams:

Subsea Production Systems and Processing Systems
Subsea Control Systems
Umbilicals, Subsea Cables, and Subsea Power Cables
Risers and Flexible Pipes
Flowlines, Trunklines and Onshore Pipelines
Pipeline Commissioning
Installation of all subsea equipment except D&W equipment

The sector is organized into 6 departments with approximately 30 employees in each department. In addition, there are 4 Leading Advisors within Subsea Facilities in the sector. We are organized in a competence centre giving employees the opportunity to work on a broad set of deliveries.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Participate in design, engineering, manufacturing, construction, installation, and commissioning of subsea high voltage cables and/or umbilicals.
Participate in concept development and screening and performing early-phase studies for new projects
Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements
Tendering and evaluation activities
Preparing technical documents for project sanction, studies, and contract tendering.
Contractor follow-up of studies, project execution & technology qualification.
Sporadic offshore work.

Competence Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferrably with mechanical, marine or civil engineering.
Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
Background from umbilicals and/or high voltage subsea cables.
Good understanding of project development.
Proficient in English, both oral and written.
