Head of Business Development mission is to support an efficient and fast execution of the commercial agenda and strategic objectives across all Consumer units. The Head of Business Development is an instrumental architect and a driving force in leading transformation in the business, where the goal is to strengthen the position in the market and support financial objectives.

The position will report to and be one of the key advisors to Head of Consumer, The Head of Business Development will be part of an informal, energetic and competent management team with passion for change and business. The position will be highly exposed to top management in Norway and Sweden, as well as stakeholders across the organisation.

The location of the position is Oslo, Norway.

The main areas of responsibility are:

• Business development – pointing out and driving strategic initiatives and directions through market insight, strategic pricing and brand governance

• Strategic outlook and alignment – orchestrate and structure the strategic agenda with focus on processes and development

Is this you?

You will lead a highly skilled and senior team of 5 people, by being a long-term thinking leader in a hands-on environment, with the ability to have the overall understanding of needed input, resources, and brands.

You have:

• Higher education, preferably on a master level, within business or technology

• Previous telecom experience is not a prerequisite but rather commercial management experience at a strategic level in a large company that is technology, customer and insight driven.

• Experience with leading complex transformation agendas and /or projects

• Proven track-record on driving profitable growth from a role that requires collaboration and understanding of the entire value chain from idea generation to delivery and further development.

• Very good understanding of technology. Experience with translating business needs to product owners and developers.

• Experience with creating value through variety of stakeholders in a complex organisation

• Fully proficient written and verbal English and Norweigian language skills,

• Experience from management consulting and/or roles with responsibility for one or more of the following areas: Innovation and Business Development; Sales and Marketing; Portfolio Management and Product Development
