To deliver this range of services and products requires a dedicated team of engineers. We are expanding the platform team and looking for a colleague for Sven and the data scientists.

We are looking for an experienced data engineer. The role is focused on building data products using a combination of our core data platform, snowflake, and ML components. Data products are at the heart of the MIMIRO business, powering applications for farmers to improve their operations, and supporting value chain and sustainability goals for the dairy and meat industry. As Data Engineer, you will be responsible for

• Building data transformations to create data products
• Integrating data from different sources
• Ensuring data quality with automated processes
• Building and deploying SQL / DBT work packages
• Effectively working with R&D and application developers to meet their data needs
• Documenting and managing data contracts

We are looking for someone with

• Degree in computer science or related engineering discipline
• 3+ years experience with using data platforms to build data products
• High level of SQL competency
• Experience and competence with DBT
• Engineering mindset that understands how the pieces fit together
• Good level of Python competence
• Experience with snowflake a bonus
• Experience with ML ops a bonus

Office and people

You can switch between using the downtown offices at Spaces in Oslo, the office right by the railway station in Ås or working from home when needed. We bring with us people from England, Ukraine, Oslo, India, Fjørtoft, Germany, Stavanger, Fredrikstad, and many other places. The working language is English. Come as you are ??
