Tasks and Deliveries: 

• Follow-up with contractors to ensure deliveries align with scope, budget, and schedule, providing input and clarifications as necessary.

• Contribute to internal project evaluations and documentation, including design basis, technical requirements, functional specifications, and technology assessments.

• Develop package specifications and provide input to procurement activities within the HVAC discipline.

• Contribute to planning and executing HVAC packages follow-up activities, including establishing and monitoring contractor's verification of equipment packages.

• Ensure necessary dialogue with interfacing disciplines to resolve interface issues.

• Drive engineering efficiency, safety in design, design-to-cost, and constructability within the HVAC discipline.

• Support execution team on a day-to-day basis, including follow-up in Dubai at DDW shipyard as required.

• Manage relevant change proposals, non-conformance requests, and delivery of life cycle information within the discipline.

Accountabilities:

• Ensure safe solutions with the ALARP approach.

• Secure operation of systems to avoid downtime during operation.

• Ensure regulatory compliance.

• Ensure a "fit for purpose" solution.

Qualification Requirements

• Formal education within the trade.

• Minimum 20 years' experience within the discipline.

• Core knowledge of rules and regulations.

• Proficiency in Norwegian and English communication.

• Motivating approach and positive spirit.

• Ability to cooperate across disciplines and within the discipline.
