Most important areas of responsibility:

• We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated to take part in our global digital transformation. The areas of responsibility can be specified depending on your main areas of qualifications and motivation
• You will work in cross functional teams to develop and scale valuable digital solutions in Elkem globally. The teams will have different roles such as agile coaches, data scientists and data engineers and domain experts
• Collaborate with business partners to develop novel ways to meet objectives utilizing cutting edge techniques and tools

Qualifications preferred for the position:

• Master's degree within computer science, engineering, mathematics/statistics, data science or other higher education level or equivalent experience.
• Relevant work experience
• Expertise in solution architecture, software design and implementation
• Knowledge of data & analytics architecture and practices
• Knowledge of common software development and data and analytics technologies (e.g. Python, Azure Analytics Suite, SQL, Spark)
• Continuous delivery practices and tooling to support automated build, test and deploy
• Relevant experience from IT implementation projects, and preferably experience with agile methodologies and DevOps
• Good oral and written communication skills in English

The position reports to VP Digital Office. The successful candidate could operate from Kristiansand, Oslo or Lyon, and has to be flexible for some international travel.
