What does BMI HR do?

The HR department takes care of everything that has to do with our people. We work with, among other things, recruitment, training, guidelines, benefits, and everything else that comes along with life as an employee and manager. We support the organisation with advice and various types of follow-ups. In addition, HR takes the initiative for new projects and activities that build on the company's commercial strategy. HR works with all parts of our Norwegian operations and collaborates a lot with good colleagues in other joint functions and across national borders. We are keen to share expertise and experience, make each other better, and succeed together!

We are a small, close-knit team that is flexible and service-minded both between us and in dialogue with our internal customers. We are concerned with trusting and positive communication with all those we work with.

The Job:

You will be part of a small and operative team that helps each other in a busy working day. Here you will therefore have the opportunity to work with many different HR tasks, but you will have primary responsibility for:

Your Main Tasks:

• Assist and advise managers in HR-related matters
• Assist managers in the various processes - Joiner, Movers, and Leavers
• HR analysis, insight, and reporting - you contribute together with the others in the team
• Maintenance and development of process flows, guidelines, and handbook - make sure we have things in order
• Be the main contact for HR Services in our Global Business Service (GBS)
• Super user for our HR and internal communication systems
• Cooperation and assist payroll when needed
• Good personnel administration - have a good overview of all HRM data
• Keep up-to-date on relevant laws and agreements
• Participate in various development projects - we are always looking for new and smart solutions

Your Experience:

Our new colleague should thrive with lots of balls in the air! With us, no two days are the same, and they rarely go exactly as planned. We like it that way! You are someone who works independently and efficiently and sees which tasks must be prioritized. You like to take initiative and are a problem solver. It is important that you have a good eye for detail, but can look up when necessary. Of course, we will help you get started and onboarded properly!

• Relevant HR education and a couple of years of experience in an HR role.
• You should have good experience with HR systems, HR processes, and absence follow-up.
• Tech savvy, and a clear advantage with experience from Google.
• Experience from working in the border between HR and payroll. Knowledge of VismaHRM is a big advantage.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR-related regulations is beneficial
• Fluent in Norwegian and very strong English, both written and verbal.
