Nofitech is a leading turnkey supplier in land-based RAS facilities for fish production and our technology is preferred by the market's largest fish farmers. We have been central in contributing to sustainable and efficient food production. We are about 40 enthusiastic employees working in Trondheim, the Faroe Islands, and Scottland.                                  

To further develop the company, we are searching for a skilled and ambitious coworker who will strengthen our Automation department, and maybe you are the right one for this position!

About the position:

As an automation engineer, you will join our Automation team and take an important part in a company that is shaping the future of aquaculture through innovation and sustainability. You will report directly to the Head of Automation and work closely with various departments in the organization.

Required Qualifications:

To succeed and grow in this position, we are looking for someone with:

•     Higher education in automation or similar

•     Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience (industry sector, project execution)

•     Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems

•     Structured approach to work tasks with a focus on details and accuracy

•     Being fluent in both Norwegian and English

Areas of responsibility:

•     System design and follow-up of Nofitech Automation System

•     Follow-up suppliers’ deliveries

•     Interface with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients

•     Commissioning and support of our projects in both Norway and internationally

Nofitech was established in 2011. We delivered our first RAS module for freshwater in 2012, and the first ModulRAS facility for operation with seawater already in 2015. All the plants we have delivered have very good production results. Our ambition is and has always remained the same: further develop and adapt our concept to future requirements so that we can continue to deliver the market's most cost-effective and compact RAS solutions.
