We are on the lookout for a Senior Buyer to join our team in Trondheim! As our next collegue you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for our Subsea and Marine portfolios. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in procurement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• Manage the RFQ and bid evaluation process for assigned procurement packages to ensure fairness and equal opportunities for suppliers

• Procure materials, solutions, and services according to internal procurement procedures

• Plan, organize, and execute procurement contract negotiations for assigned procurement packages

• Maintain communication with the Project Procurement Manager regarding progress and risk

• Update the Procurement Milestone Plan (PMP) for assigned procurement packages

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as sales and engineering for procurement tasks

• Act as the main point of contact and coordination with suppliers for assigned procurement packages

• Manage bid clarifications towards suppliers with support from internal stakeholders

• Drive standardization measures and evaluate design to cost (DtC) measures for assigned procurement packages

• Ensure supplier quality management

• Promote and contribute to a positive HSSE culture with colleagues, clients, and suppliers

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in the Subsea and Marine environment

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economy or Engineering, preferably within Supply Chain Management

• Technical understanding of Electrification and/or Automation solutions is advantageous

• Extensive knowledge and experience in negotiations, contract, and risk management

• Responsible, structured, and result-oriented

• Fluent communication skills in Norwegian and English

• Good ERP knowledge
