Aker Solutions is looking for a Technical Safety & Environment Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Trondheim and will be led from there.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute technical safety deliverables within projects.
• Establish and update safety philosophies and strategies.
• Prepare design specifications, detail engineering, and reports for technical safety systems/equipment, area classification, shutdown, fire & gas detection, fire protection, escape and evacuation, etc.
• Prepare and update safety documents and drawings.
• Provide input to procurement packages and follow up with suppliers.
• Assess risk levels for different solutions using qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Plan and conduct safety design reviews such as HAZID, safety assessments, and ALARP assessments.

• Relevant education at BSc or MSc level in science or engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical safety engineering within the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry or similar sectors.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Norwegian and English.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations, including NORSOK S-001, S-002, S-003.
• Familiarity with other relevant industry standards.
• Proactive with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
