GIS Engineer

Reach Subsea wishes to strengthen our staff and are searching for a GIS Engineer to join our Reporting Team in Norway.

Our projects include mapping the seabed, subsurface and infrastructure with a variety of sensor technology to provide information to our clients. We use GIS tools and generate geodata in all phases of our projects from planning to delivery.

Do these things interest you?

You will:

Assist with project preparations and support offshore operations.

Data management and preparation of deliverables from survey data. This includes processed data and interpretation data from multibeam bathymetry, sidescan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, gradiometer etc.

Compile project deliveries using CAD and GIS software.

Provide support and analysis to the reporting team.

Contribute with developing and improving solutions and production lines.

Contribute to facilitate geodata as web services and in web applications.

What we look for:

You have a relevant BSc/Msc degree in geomatics, geography, computer science, or similar.

You are passionate about learning new skills and improve processes and solutions

You have good general computer skills

You can work independently and collaborate with your team to solve complex issues

You are fluent in English
