We're seeking an entrance to mid weight User Experience Designer with confidence in interaction design to bolster our efforts in creating compelling, user-centric digital solutions to some complex problems. This role is ideal for a creative problem-solver who excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on a variety of projects. As a facilitator within our team, you'll be instrumental in bridging user needs with business goals, ensuring our products benefit from rapid iterations and in the trench mentality to user feedback. In this position you are expected to grow and learn new skills and more importantly solve complicated problems.

About the roleThe main responsibilities for this role will be:

• Interaction design: Drive the creation of engaging and intuitive interfaces, focusing on optimising user interaction and satisfaction.
• Collaborative problem solving: Work closely with UX, product managers, and developers to tackle complex design challenges, ensuring solutions are feasible and align with user needs.
• User-centred design: Champion a user-centred design approach, guiding the team through user research, ideation, prototyping, and testing.
• Cross-departmental facilitation: Act as a liaison between the UX team and other departments, facilitating collaboration and ensuring design considerations are integrated throughout the product development process.
• Stakeholder engagement: Effectively communicate design decisions and user insights to stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding and buy-in for design directions.
• Service design way of thinking to all products and services we touch in the company.

About youThe right candidate is preferred to have the following qualifications:

• Relevant degree/diploma/certificate in Design, HCI, or equivalent. 
• Proven experience in interaction design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on digital products.
• Exceptional design skills with a deep understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma is a must.
• Excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to partake in workshops and design sprints that drive collaboration and innovation.
• A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in UX design, with a track record of successfully delivered projects.
• Fluent English oral and written communication skills. Our working language is English.

Managing livestock has always been a challenge. Humanity has tried everything from herding with dogs to walling the animals in with barbed wire, electric, and wooden fences, but these are costly and time-consuming solutions and often in conflict with the local wildlife. It has also left vast areas of potential pasture overgrown and underutilized.

About Us

As a company still in our early stages, our way of working is continuously evolving, and you will have the opportunity to make an impact on how we do things. We are passionate about product development, animal welfare, farmer welfare and sustainable agriculture. We genuinely believe our grazing technology is the biggest technological change in agriculture since the tractor!

So far, our clients have used Nofence in a range of creative ways, including regenerative cattle farming, conservation grazing with goats, regenerative grazing with sheep, and even government work! Yet we have only just scratched the surface, and already have 250 million hours of operation on animals with recorded behaviour data to explore.
