Service & Commissioning Engineer, Marine

About the role

Autronica has now an opportunity for a Service & Commissioning Engineer who will be responsible for service & commissioning work for Global Services, Marine. In this role you will perform commissioning, service, testing and repair of Autronica products throughout the world.

Key accountabilities:

• Service and Commissioning work onboard ships globally.
• Remote services from Autronica’s offices.
• Technical support and Services both towards internal and external customers.
• Close internal interaction and collaboration with Projects & Product/Technnology.
• Ready, motivated and capable for global travelling.

Qualifications & experience:

• Bachelor engineer in Electronics, Automation, IT (Networks) or similar
• Technical mindset and analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written

• Work independently and act on own initiative.
• Cooperate well with others, share knowledge, experience, information and support others in the pursuit of goals.
• Achieve a customer oriented attitude and practice a good commercial acumen.
• Adjust very fast to changing situations and accept responsibility for results.
