The position

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to:

Join our Facility Management team, providing support to a broad portfolio of Equinor office buildings. Included in these offices we have data centers, operations centers for windfarms, oil & gas installations, marine & air traffic surveillance. We also have advanced laboratories, drilling operations, emergency preparedness & security centers. And of course, large areas of regular office facilities including kitchens & canteens.

You will be joining a large team of colleagues with a range of skills and expertise, delivering essential support to facilities across both Norway and the world, following up on work carried out by vendors and providing key advice to ensure safe operations at a strategic level. 

In this role you will:

  • Be system owner for the gas distribution and ventilation system to laboratories in Rotvoll, Sandsli and Herøya, carrying out follow-up to ensure that we are aligned with requirements.
  • Follow-up handover from vendors & internal projects to operations.
  • Be a part of a workgroup and provide approval for work permits on work related to laboratories “Control of work” – for work related to infrastructure on the laboratories in Rotvoll, Sandsli and Herøya.
  • Contribute to keeping our technical requirements and guidelines updated & relevant both on office building and on laboratories.
  • Act as single point of contact between our organization and the laboratory environment.
  • Hold responsibility for HVAC documentation on critical infrastructure for laboratories.
  • Provide advice as a subject matter expert for the HVAC domain and in some cases be a part of planning of modification projects.
  • Advise and contribute to ensure safe operations, primarily on a high level, while also being able to dig into the details & participate in in-depth studies/ internal investigations if needed.
  • Request & evaluate 3rd-party quality assessments (tilstandsanalyser) of our deliveries, along with revisions and testing of our most critical infrastructure.

  • A Bachelor's degree in HVAC engineering or another related field. 
  • 5 or more years of experience as an HVAC engineer. 
  • Previous experience of working with contractors and vendors would be an advantage. 
  • A background of working in commercial or industrial settings such as offices, plants, industry. 
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work in both English and Norwegian.
