Mechanical Design Engineer

ENRX Skien is now looking for a new Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen our Engineering department. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for design of mechanical equipment used in our induction heating applications.

You will work in a team with skilled colleagues and with employees in our sister companies in Asia, America and Europe. At our premises in Skien, you will be close to the entire value chain with everything from development to production.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Engineering and design of mechanical systems, including electromechanical devices, modules, cooling systems and other induction related parts
• Specific product responsibility for our range of Hand Held Transformers (HHT)
• Establish correct documentation for purchase, production and test
• Ensure Products are in accordance to relevant standards
• Contribute to high quality and correct customer documentation
• Technical product support
• Continuous improvement of products and technology with respect to safety, quality, environment, performance and cost
  
  

Required education and experience:

• BSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
• Relevant experience can compensate for required education
• Relevant craft certificate or practical work-knowledge is an advantage
• Systematic and organized with good execution ability
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both colleagues and Customers
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Norwegian
• Good computer skills, knowledge and experience in use of 2D/3D CAD and PDM system
• Experience in one or more of the following software is an advantage:
  • Creo, AutoCAD, PDM Windchill, Infor LN ERP system
