Senior Engineers - Technical Safety

We are looking for senior technical safety engineers to strengthen our department in Haugesund.

About the position
As a technical safety engineer in Aibel, you will be a key person in our projects and studies with responsibility for safety issues in design, identifying safety risks and coming up with robust and safe technical solutions for design, installation and running of facilities. Your expertise will be important in multidiscipline reviews and verifications. Join us to help building a safe future within the energy sector.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Active and passive fire protection, area classifications and emergency evacuation.
• Detection, SIL and emergency shutdowns
• Technical work environment and external environment
• Keep updated on rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Higher technical education (BSc, MSc)
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
• Preferably experience with work on the Norwegian continental shelf and onshore process plants.
• Good knowledge of rules and regulations for technical safety in design
• Good communication skills in English, both writing and speaking. Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
