We are on the lookout for our next brilliant Automation Engineer!

We are currently seeking a Senior SAS/Automation Engineer to join our team in Stavanger.

Job Description

• Prepare automation documentation including Layouts, SCDs, logic diagrams, block diagrams, Cause & effect, IO/signal lists, HMI mark-up

• Establish and design control and shut-down control philosophy and logic

• Prepare engineering work packages for Automation sub-vendors

• Prepare technical specifications for the modification of platform control systems and vendor follow-up (ESD, PSD, PCS, F&G)

• Perform offshore surveys and follow-up on planning dates and milestones

• Prepare study reports and ensure compliance with HSE guidelines and QA objectives

• Contribute technical solutions to reduce CO2 footprints and utilize standard solutions

• Ensure discipline deliverables comply with work processes and procedures

Qualification Requirements

• Formal higher education degree in engineering preferred

• Experience and knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols and principles for field instrumentation (Flow, Level, Fire & Gas detection, etc.)

• Familiarity with Norsok, ATEX, IEC standards and experience preparing MTO's

• Preferable experience with STID, ProCoSys, SAP, Proarc, and IFS

• Experience in maintenance and modification projects in the Oil and Gas industry preferred

• Experience from a control system vendor advantageous, including design, development, and programming of control system logic

• Experience within Field Instrumentation considered a plus
