The Oslo Plaza has 678 rooms 2 brand new outlets and is Scandinavias highest outdoor Terracce serving food & drinks to both in house guests and walk ins. 

Our first class Front Office Team is the heart of the house where we exude patience, empathy and personality to host the show and where we strive to deliver a hospitality experience that is beyond expectation - creating memorable moments for our guests. In July 2023 the front office team had enrolled more than 10000 new Radisson Rewards members - ready to come back for that Plaza feeling.

As Front Office Manager, you will lead and join a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in all that we do!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in all Front Office and Guest Relations procedures to be a resource when needed
  • A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member management
  • Commercially aware
  • Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards
  • Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities
  • Strong working knowledge of any Property Management System 
  • A hands on approach to the daily hustle and bustle
  • Ensures the smooth running of the front office department, where all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level
  • Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries and problem resolution
  • Delivers on plans and objectives where front office initiatives & hotel targets are achieved
  • Own and drive the Radisson Rewards programme


Requirements:

  • Experience in front office
  • Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Ability to find creative solutions with proven problem-solving capabilities offering support where required
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
  • Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
  • Strong communication skills

Towering 37 stories above the Oslo city center, the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel stands within walking distance of top attractions such as the Royal Palace, National Gallery and Oslo Spektrum Arena. Each of the 678 rooms and suites offer stunning views of the city’s downtown. Guests can choose from a tempting variety of on-site dining options, including the Super Breakfast Buffet at Restaurant Gaio, Great homemade pizza and brew at Chicago Pizza & Brew, openend 2023. Great food with a Norwegian style with a continental twist in the Top Restaurant. Guests may also have drinks at the Top Bar on the 34th floor or lounge on The Top Terracce  with spritzers and great Terrace food in the open air at 110 meters above street level offering stunning views of the City and fjord.

Our on-site event facilities can host business meetings, banquets and social events of up to 1,100 guests. Radisson Blu also partners with Oslo Spektrum Arena to stage large events, such as international trade fairs.
