About the role

As a Program Manager (Datacenter) at Gapit Nordics, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of multiple ongoing projects within one or a small number of major customer accounts.

You will be responsible for managing the overall program scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks to ensure alignment with customer expectations and Gapit organizational goals. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders internally and externally. 


Responsibilities

  • Lead the program including contributing to the planning, execution, and closure of multiple concurrent projects within the designated customer account (s).  
  • Define the program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with the customer and internal stakeholders.  
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of program outcomes.  
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.  
  • Regularly communicate program status, milestones, and key metrics to stakeholders internally and externally.  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior customer representatives, the technical project management and systems engineering teams.  
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all deliveries, working closely with the Gapit Customer Teams, ensuring the customer needs and expectations are understood and addressed throughout the program lifecycle.  
  • Facilitate regular meetings, workshops, and status updates to foster collaboration, alignment, and transparency among all stakeholders.  
  • Oversee the allocation and coordination of resources, both internal and external, to support program activities and deliverables.  
  • Work closely with resource managers to ensure adequate staffing levels, skills, and expertise are available to meet project requirements.  
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.  
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks and issues affecting program delivery, and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans to minimize their impact.  
  • Proactively monitor and manage dependencies, constraints, and external factors that may impact project outcomes, taking appropriate action to address them as needed.  


Preffered Qualifications

  • Prince 2 or equivalent certification preferred.  
  • Proven experience (2 years) managing complex IT/OT projects and programs, preferably within a vendor or consulting environment.  
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.  
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.  
  • Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.  
  • Experience working with customers in a project management or consulting role, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.  
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, overcome obstacles, and deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
