Senior Engineers – Structural Design & Draft in E3D

Structural Engineering in Stavanger is looking to strengthen the team with new Senior Structural Designers. You will play an important part for the structural design within onshore/offshore energy projects. Embark on a rewarding journey with us as we power Europe’s energy sector. 

About the position

We’re looking for Senior Structural Design Engineers who can proficiently carry out structural design in E3D, update drawings using Microstation 2D/Raster and perform discipline checks. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of all aspects of steel designs, a comprehensive knowledge of NORSOK standards and have experience with FEED studies and EPCIC projects. 

Responsibilities and tasks include

• E3D design, including 2D drawing production, of main, secondary, and outfitting structures such as:
• Deck structures
• Reinforcements of existing steel
• Walkways and access platforms
• Stairs & ladders
• Monorails and padeyes

Qualifications

• 4 + years' experience within offshore related projects on the Norwegian continental shelf
• Experience with structural design and draft by use of E3D, and MicroStation 2D/3D
• Degree within structural engineering, technical college, or long experience withing structural design
• Proficient in English, Norwegian/Scandinavian skills is an advantage
• Knowledge within TEKLA and offshore surveys is a benefit
