Asset Lead

DNO Norge AS is looking for an Asset Lead to join our Projects & Production team.

The role will be based in our Stavanger office.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a group of DNO's development and production assets (non-operated and operated) to ensure planned performance and value creation from new opportunities
• Ensure that HSE performance for the assets conforms to DNO's HSE expectations and Norwegian regulations
• Engage with asset partners, evaluate partner work, drive internal asset work and ensure see-to-it duty is fulfilled
• Define and pursue company strategic priorities for the assets and surrounding areas
• Deliver technical analysis, production and cost forecasts, reserve estimates for the asset portfolio in co-operation with others (team members and supporting departments such as drilling, facilities, reservoir management, commercial and HSE)
• Monitor asset performance, and make interventions to ensure optimum value
• Obtain budget and internal financial approvals for yearly work programmes and projects
• Maintain and actively use risk management tools

Required experience and qualifications:

• Technical or commercial degree. Master level or equivalent professional experience, with 10+ years' experience in relevant roles (technical or commercial)
• Strong cross-discipline knowledge and exposure (e.g., Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, Field Development, Well Planning, Drilling, Production Operations, Subsea/Facilities, Commercial)
• Experience working with fields in development, production, and decommissioning phases
• Knowledge of the NCS license and contractual framework, including Joint operating Agreements

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline team environment
• Proactive, strategic and solution oriented
• Good analytical skills, able to use economic evaluation tools and methods
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and oral
