Nofitech is a leader in land-based RAS facilities for fish production, and our technology is preferred by the market's largest fish farmers. We have taken a central position in contributing to sustainable and efficient food production. We are about 40 enthusiastic employees working in our offices in Trondheim, the Faroe Islands and Scottland.

To further strengthen the company, we are searching for a skilled and ambitious Financial Controller who will play a central role in managing the company's financial operations, and maybe you are the right one for this position!

About the position:

As Financial Controller you will join our team and being an important part of shaping the future of aquaculture through innovation and sustainability. Together we drive our financial strategy forward while embracing our core values; Wellness at work, Winning together, Choosing the planet and Always moving forward. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with various departments in the organization.

Areas of responsibility

• Control and report financial results

• Prepare forecasts and provide management information

• Carry out monthly closing tasks and prepare financial reports

• Contribute during audits and participate in the preparation of the annual report

• Support in the implementation of new projects and improve existing routines and processes

• Carry out other ad hoc tasks and projects as required

Qualifications

To succeed and grow in this position, you need to have:

• Higher education in economics, accounting, or related fields

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management

• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems

• Structured approach to work tasks with a focus on details and accuracy

• Self-driven and proactive with good collaboration and communication skills

• Interest and understanding of IT systems and digitization in finance

• Fluent in Norwegian and English

Nofitech was established in 2011. We delivered our first RAS module for freshwater in 2012, and the first ModulRAS facility for operation with seawater already in 2015. All the plants we have delivered have very good production results.
