We are looking for two Piping & Layout Senior Engineer

We are seeking experienced Piping/Piping & Layout Senior Engineers to join our team! As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of critical piping systems on an offshore oil & gas platform.

Job Description

• Identify and select stress critical lines from Process P&IDs based on NORSOK guidelines.

• Perform comprehensive stress analysis using software on critical piping systems such as compressor and pump lines, flare systems, and flow-lines.

• Determine flexibility and pipe support requirements for non-critical lines through visual checks or hand calculations.

• Conduct detailed checking of calculations made by other stress engineers.

• Collaborate closely with other disciplines to implement an optimal design, including piping layout, pipe supports, structural, and construction.

• Calculate and qualify various piping components according to relevant standards.

• Perform dynamic calculations involving slugging, surge, and fatigue.

• Screen for potential vibrations in all systems and implement mitigating solutions.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in piping engineering.

• Good knowledge of several required standards.

• Familiarity with Norwegian standards (NORSOK, DNV) 

• Strong multi-discipline understanding.

• Ability to work cooperatively in multicultural teams.

• Proficient English communication skills.
