Are you our next Team Lead for Service and Maintenance?

OptoScale has developed an industry-leading computer vision system creating a paradigm shift in aquaculture. Our hardware product, the bioscope, is a stereoscopic underwater camera device with onboard computing and internal light systems. This unit is placed in fish pens to register a wide array of data from thousands of fish each day.

With increasing demand for our technology, we are looking for a driven and proactive Team Lead to strengthen our team. 

About the position

Team Lead is responsible for coordinating resources and activities related to the production and service of OptoScale equipment to ensure the department achieves its goals. 

A key priority will be leading the implementation of a new ERP system, covering procurement, inventory management, and service and maintenance systems—a pivotal measure for enhancing our operational efficiency and scalability. 

In this role, your workday will have a bit of everything, such as:

• Production planning together with COO
• Service and maintenance planning
• Resource planning
• Inventory and warehouse management
• Follow up and support OptoScale key sub-suppliers and foreign workshops.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related support within the organization.
• HSE [Health, Safety, and Environment] in the production hall
• Continuous improvement with a focus on enhancing quality and refining procedures.

Team Lead reports to COO and doesn't hold direct personnel management responsibilities.

We believe the following skills and experience would be a plus:

• Leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Technical experience within service and maintenance (3 years or more)
• Electronics experience
• Strong understanding of assembly tasks and troubleshooting
• Experience or familiarity with systems and modules including inventory, order processing, and service and maintenance systems
• Experience with system implementation
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
