We are seeking a committed, forward-leaning, and ambitious Sales Manager – Mobility, with experience from B2B sales in complex international industrial settings with professional sales experience from the Mobility market segment. You will work broadly towards building sustainable and long-term customer relationships in the relevant market segment, developing them further to support and secure the overall company success.

You will be solution led, driven by a responsibility to understand our customer requirements to add value and build long-lasting partnerships.

This is a fundamental position within an experienced sales team which will develop and implement ambitious plans.

The position will report directly to the Director of Sales Mobility

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the commercial and profitable growth of the battery/cell business of the dedicated customer account by establishing strong networks and achieving overall customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective customer relationship management (CRM) documentation and input to the dedicated system.
  • Responsible for the execution of the account and the go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop a healthy pipeline of new battery business opportunities for dedicated customers and market segments.
  • Manage the business acquisition of new projects during the sourcing phase of the dedicated customer account by preparing, submitting, and negotiating commercial offers on time.
  • Responsible for budget and forecast planning, monitoring, and controlling delivery actuals to achieve sales targets.
  • Minimize accounts and receivables for the dedicated customer account to improve MORROW ?s cash flow.
  • The role will involve an x-functional working environment closely with MORROW’s technical, operations, marketing, quality, logistic, demand, legal and finance teams.
  • Protect MORROW ?s intellectual property rights during commercial negotiations for the customer account.
  • Minimize MORROW ?s commercial warranty risk by performing an effective customer complaint management process.
  • Execute commercial change management during the complete product cycle.

  • Negotiate and implement commercial after-sales requirements before EOP.

  • Perform marketing and market intelligence activities for dedicated customer and market segments.

Education & Experience

  • Based on a successfully completed technical degree, preferably in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable education with a good technical understanding, you ideally have already years of experience in sales of batteries in the mobility sector.
  • Professional experience in the relevant industry, with 2 - 5 years of experience in B2B sales of technical or electronic products with a Tier 1 / Tier 2 supplier. An already existing customer network is a plus.

Specific Skills & Abilities

  • Experience in Customer and Supplier relationship management
  • Working knowledge of costing/quoting process incl. business, commercial and financial understanding
  • Ability to interact in a cross-functional environment internally as well as with the customer through various hierarchy levels.
  • Interest in Li-Ion technology, e-mobility, and renewable energies as well as a clear understanding of current and future market trends
  • In addition to commercial know-how and decision-making skills, we expect independent structured and customer-oriented work, organizational talent, and multitasking skills
  • Very good handling of Office applications (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Willingness to travel in Europe
  • Confident knowledge of English, and knowledge in German is a plus.
  • Project management skills are desirable
