SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As a Digital Workplace consultant, your role will encompass being an integral member of a Scrum team overseeing various services within our Microsoft365 platform, along with potential involvement in other internal solutions utilized globally by Jotun. Participation in the creation of our new Intranet is expected, with subsequent responsibility for its service post-launch. Your contributions will be vital in setting up and configuring our Microsoft 365 environment. Tasks will include managing compliance features like eDiscovery, retention policies, DLP, and sensitivity labels, as well as configuring SharePoint sites and document libraries.

Monitoring service health, analyzing usage and performance, along with troubleshooting connectivity, permission, and service disruption issues will be part of your duties. Additionally, you will play a role in coordinating super-users across all organizational levels, implementing IT governance, and liaising with Business/content owners for the development of the service to ensure its successful management, utilization, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• As a member of the team that manages digital services in Jotun, manage change requests, access management, and upgrades by planning, coordinating, and executing related tasks in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and in line with Group IT policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the optimal use and utilization of the digital services by raising awareness of the solution on all relevant levels of the organization, sharing best practices, and providing relevant user groups access to training and supporting material to reduce errors/misuse and ensure that business processes are managed in the best viable way.
• Manage the development of the services by understanding and documenting the business current and future needs, creating strategic plans, and actively looking for possibilities to align with other services in order make sure that they remain robust, fit-for-purpose and able to serve business needs in the short- and long term.
• Ensure that the services are adequately supported by delivering or making available appropriate functional and technical support.
• Manage assigned vendor(s) for digital services.

Qualifications:

To be successful and enjoy this role, we believe you have a relevant bachelor's or master's degree, and relevant work experience (3-5 years) in similar positions. Relevant experience and background can compensate for formal education.
