SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As a Tech Influencer, you will be responsible for and manage the promotion and adoption of different technology tools and services in Jotun. With a primary focus on the Microsoft platform including the usage of Copilot. The main tasks will be to communicate the benefits and features of the services, maintain and coordinate with super users across the world, provide training and guidance to the users, and collaborate with the solution owners and other personnel in Jotun to provide feedback and suggestions.


This position will also be responsible for the IT Academy related to IT training offered to all Jotun employees. Our goal is to use technology to support and reinvent business processes and enhance productivity and innovation in Jotun. The tools used for this will be creating videos, trainings and other material that will be distributed in the organization.


As a Tech Influencer you will be responsible for:

  • The promotion and adoption of different services and platforms in the Jotun organization, by being an evangelist, offer training and inspire new uses by showcasing good examples, especially in the Microsoft platform including the usage of Copilot, to ensure that Jotun is up to date with the latest technology trends and best practices.
  • Communication and training of the users of the services and platforms, to ensure that they understand how to use them effectively and efficiently, and how to leverage them to improve their work processes and outcomes.
  • Collaboration and feedback with the solution owners and developers of the services, to ensure that the user needs and expectations are met, and that the services are aligned with the business and IT strategy.
  • Evaluating and assessing the tools and platforms, ensuring they deliver the expected value and benefits, and identifying gaps or improvement opportunities.
  • Maintaining a network of super users within the different areas.
  • Developing global training programs to be rolled out to all Jotun employees.
  • The innovation and experimentation with the services, to explore new ways of using them to solve problems and create solutions, and to share the learnings and best practices with the IT team and the business.
  • The continued development of IT Academy.

Qualifications:

To be successful and enjoy this role, we believe you can either have a relevant bachelor or master’s degree in IT or Communications/Marketing, and possibly some work experience in relevant positions. Relevant experience and background can compensate for formal education.

You should understand best practices for various technology platforms, know how to work with cameras, edit photos and videos, and have a passion for the use of technology to solve problems.
