About the role:

As a Data Scientist in Bank Norwegian, you'll play an important role in ensuring the optimal performance of credit risk models. You'll delve into the intersection of technical and economic disciplines, developing, validating, and implementing risk models while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Main tasks:

•  Ensure credit risk models are performing optimally through monitoring and implementing necessary changes.
• Develop, validate, and implement risk models, simulate model change impacts, and monitor model performance.
• Create and maintain risk monitoring, forecasting, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, and Marketing.
• Develop and maintain the bank's risk management systems.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a higher education in quantitative subjects. 
• Has strong experience with SQL and knowledge of at least one programming language for modeling (Python, R). 
• Good English skills are required
• It is advantageous if you have experience with IFRS9 models, banking, PowerBI/Tableau, or cloud platforms.
