Aker Solutions is looking for a Senior Package Responsible Engineer - Rotating equipment with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Kristiansund and will be led from there.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical specifications, evaluate bids, and assist in order placement.
• Develop equipment lists and contribute to study reports.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Coordinate discipline input for both FEED and detailed engineering phases of onshore projects.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience as a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE), with a strong understanding of NORSOK R-001 / R-002 and international standards and design codes related to various equipment categories.
• Proficiency in preparing technical specifications, requisitions, and assessing supplier bids.
• Experience in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of mechanical equipment and packages.
• Knowledge of mechanical packages, including mechanical rotating equipment such as pumps, turbines, and compressors.
• Demonstrated interdisciplinary thinking and understanding, excellent team working skills, proactive attitude, extroverted personality, and hands-on approach.
• Additional experience as a mechanical field engineer and familiarity with other engineering disciplines, particularly piping, is advantageous.
