Piping Layout Engineer (BH-265770)

Contract period: 29.04.2024 - 30.04.2026

Location: Asker

Main Tasks:

• Perform general layout evaluations and piping layout activities by using Aveva E3D modelling & Draft tools.
• Evaluate access, working environment and material handling in physical layout and design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master degree.
• Preferably experienced within Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind layouts and Hydrogen projects.
• 10-15 years + experience layout design, E3D/PDMS modelling.
• Experience with concept development work.
• Experience and understanding in Greenfield and Brownfield design.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations for layout design.
• Have multidiscipline understanding and act proactive, seeking advice/share experience in design processes.
• Cooperative working attitude and participate in design reviews.
• Layout and design based on NORSOK knowledge and have loyalty to project deadlines and quality requirements. 
• Some offshore-, fabrication- and commissioning- and site support experience preferred.
• Intercultural competence and acceptance for multicultural working teams, have to be acknowledged.
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian is required, spoken and in writing.
