Main responsibilities and tasks

• Assist Project Managers with picking and packing of offshore shipments
• Actively work with Engineering to help configure telecoms equipment as required
• Carry out build and assembly of various Telecoms hardware
• Assist with pre-delivery configuration and test of solutions
• Support and assist with good in and goods out activities
• Assist with management of indoor and outdoor storage locations
• Ensure appropriate stock levels of common consumable items
• Manage all documentation associated with the position
• Ability to lift up to but not exceeding 22Kg without team lift
• Work closely with support teams to ensure proper execution of the project
• Actively comply, enforce, and participate in Tampnet HSEQ policies and procedures
• Contribute to a positive work environment in the team / department

Security Requirements

The position may require the processing of documents and information that mandates security clearance in accordance with the Norwegian Security Act.

Qualification requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in a technical hand on role
• Minimum 1-year experience in warehouse setting
• Minimum 1-year experience in shipping and receiving role

• Good degree of mechanical aptitude and electrical knowledge
• High tolerance for changing priorities
• Ensure that safety risks and business risks associated with activities are assessed and that appropriate checks, controls and precautions are being taken into consideration
• Be self-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good verbal and written skills in English
• Flexible, reliable, inquisitive and proactive nature
• Ability to cope with a high pace of work in a hectic environment
