We are seeking a proficient automation engineer to contribute to a significant EPC project encompassing new modules and brownfield adaptation on an onshore installation. • Designing electrical systems (communication typicals, I/O-list, FS, SCD, and HMI input)

• Overseeing system design for electrical automation systems on Electrical equipment packages

• Developing solutions in line with client specifications

• Managing vendors and vendor technical documentation, engaging in test activities/UFAT/FAT

• Ensuring timely identification and communication of vendor and engineering information necessary for project progress

• Liaising with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients

• Generating and finalizing engineering documents and data registers

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field

• Minimum 8 years of experience in automation engineering within green field projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf

• Minimum 4 years of experience in SAS system design activities, including SCD development for PDCS systems for projects located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf

• Proficiency with communication protocols

• Thorough knowledge and experience in automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNV, and IEC
• Ex course and FSE course

• Strong communication skills

• Commitment to deadlines and quality standards

• Proactive approach, willing to seek advice and share experiences

• Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Norwegian language is advantageous
