On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for Telecom/ Telecom Senior Engineer

Job Description:

• Define and specify design solutions for required telecom sub systems.
• Follow up telecom vendors and vendors technical documentation.
• Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, other installations, and client.
• Develop engineering documents and update data registers.
• Participate in relevant test activities, workshops and reviews.
• Site support to fabrication yard

• Master, or Bachelor degree or relevant technical education.
• Ex course
• FSE course
• Long relevant practical experience may outweigh and compensate for a lack of formal education.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience from Telecom engineering and telecom system design activities within greenfield oil and gas or wind projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
• Experience and deep knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards such as
• NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNVGL and IEC.

• Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English - Both orally and in writing
• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
• A natural team player but possess the ability to work independently.
• Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
• Innovative approach, eager to improve methodology and solutions.
• Ability to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards.
• Knowledge of Norwegian language would be advantageous.
