OKEA has been operating Draugen since 2018, with strong focus on further developing and maximizing value of the field in line with the OKEA vision to become leading mid- to late-life operator on the NCS. Therefore, OKEA seeks to further strengthen the Draugen subsurface team, and is now looking for an experienced geophysicist whose main tasks will be related to Draugen. The role will also include tasks within exploration, partner-operated assets, early phase projects and project management.

Tasks

• Seismic interpretation and mapping
  
• Velocity modelling and depth conversion
  
• Inversion, AVO and attribute analysis
  
• Interpretation of 4D seismic
  
• Participation in geological modelling and updates of existing models
  
• Well planning
  
• Participate in license committees
  
• Actively participate in OKEA Exploration activities
• Contribute in early phase projects
• Project management

Qualifications

• MSc within geophysics
  
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience
  
• Experience from well planning
  
• Experience from identification and maturation of infill targets on a mature field is an advantage
  
• Experience fromproject work or licence committee work on NCS is an advantage
  
• Good communication skills inNorwegian and English, both written and oral
  
• Commercial understanding and solution-driven attitude
  
• Like to work in team
