Operational Buyer - Holiday Worker

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Handling Supply Chain team in the role as an Operational Buyer Holiday Worker this summer! In this role you will take part in planning and executing purchasing activities in the supply chain team according to best practice, and maybe you will contribute to optimizing our purchasing activities supporting both aftermarket/spares and new sales activities?

Our division, Propulsion & Handling, has a strong focus on building a strong supplier portfolio, establishing a profitable business, and entering new product- and market areas. To be part of our team this summer, we seek a motivated individual to join us and to contribute to shaping the maritime future at KONGSBERG, a world-leading company.

Key accountabilities

• Place orders in our ERP-system and follow up on signals to ensure good flow and delivery within expected time, cost and quality
• Support the team and maintain purchasing activities throughout the summer
• Ensure good communication with our suppliers

Qualifications and experience

• Student within economics, supply chain or engineering (other relevant studies may be considered)
• Good communication skills in both English and Norwegian
• Work well in a hectic and international environment within short time frames
