Data Delivery is vital to IT & Data Excellence function within the Digital Execution & Technology business units in Aker BP. We are responsible for competency, services, and resources as an excellence function.

In the Data Delivery team we enable, operate and monitor movement and integration of data from source systems to the target platform and have centralized capacity related to platform ownership, operations, and strategic development. The overall company goal is to be data-driven.

We are looking for a leader for Data Delivery with a strong passion and commitment for people and leadership. There you will become part of the management team in Data & Development Platforms department and have responsibility for 30+ resources (employees and consultants) spread over different data platforms and services.

Typical work tasks can be:

• Responsible for building identity, shaping the organisation and developing the people within your high-performing team.
• Planning and prioritizing, facilitating and removing obstacles.
• Personnel responsibility and competence development.
• Optimizing work methodology, processes, and frameworks.

Skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' of management experience (Delivery, Team and/or personnel management)
• Knowledge and experience in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
• Team-oriented person who can work both at a strategic and operational level.
• Minimum 5 years' of experience with management of data platforms in larger enterprises.
• Ability to secure decisions and anchoring with stakeholders internally and externally.
• Tackles demanding goals enthusiastically and proactively act on opportunities.
• Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
• Experience with developing for Azure/Cloud/Big Data and data pipelines is an advantage.
