What you need to know 

The pioneering role will involve travel, meeting/presenting to Key Customers, building relationships, gathering intelligence and developing strategies to ultimately be influencing buying decisions and achieve growth of Proserv product and services.

While not an exhaustive list, the Key Customers will include Equinor, ConocoPhillips, Okea, Vår Energi, Repsol, AkerBP, and others to be defined in the strategy for Norway.

The position will engage heavily with the commercial team in support of technical and commercial bid preparation, setting and communicating marketing pricing and subsequent drive/support of the commercial negotiation. A key aspect of your success will be your ability to work closely with the commercial, engineering and strategy groups along with the senior mgmt. to ensure alignment and sharing with these key partners. You and the sales team will own senior customer touch points and ensure customer relationships at all levels are collaborative and mutually successful. Through the customer touch points you will steer Proserv on technology developments, pricing, project execution etc.to maintain alignment with customer needs. 

 

Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)

  • Develop, evolve and maintain the Sales and Business Development strategy document for Norway agreed with General Managers in Norway and the SVP Sales & Strategic Accounts
  • Coordinate and ensure each segment have their Business Development strategy and targets/actions to support the overall strategy of Norway.
  • Follow up the execution of the strategy with each of the segments and guide them accordingly related to Strategy, tactics, process and tools.
  • Lead and manage regular key client meetings with senior management.
  • Drive customer relationship management: understand key decision makers within client organizations and build collaborative relationships: understand customer`s strategies and development plans, and align the Proserv sales offering.
  • Specifically, a particular focus on Equinor.
  • Help prepare and then deliver against the Norway sales targets and have an overview and influence on each sales targets by offering in Norway (ie trading, rental, service, production, subsea, measurement, IWOCs and sampling).
  • Maintain CRM system and grow plans in line with Proserv requirements, providing a true reflection of the business acquisition status and opportunity horizon.
  • Regular engagement with the other global Sales Directors. 
  • Support and ensure close and regular interaction with the Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Services and the functions.  


General

  • Be a leading promotor of Proserv behaviors and ethics within the Business Support in managing, mentoring and development of the Norway sales team, ensure capabilities meet the Norwegian and global business needs.
  • Ensure you are the voice of the customer inside of Proserv. Monitor our ongoing project execution such that it is delivering against customer expectations.
  • Identify and break into new markets/customers/segments, in line with strategy document.
  • Active participation and contribution to the SLT.
  • Represent the business as necessary at client meetings, technical seminars, etc. and contribute/facilitate the various sales events, exhibitions, brochures and literature as required.  
  • Compile customer visit reports and business development reports on a regular basis.
  • Focal point for membership of local industrial bodies/committees for information and networking opportunities.
  • Opens doors, find opportunities and obtain requests for all departments in Proserv locally and globally.
  • Hunt projects, influence in the early phase with Proserv`s services and equipment.
  • Expand the existing frame agreements and establish new frame agreements.  

 

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experienced in develop and execute a strategy for Norway.
  • Strong established relationship with senior management in oil and gas companies.
  • Well experienced in development of new or expand existing frame agreements.
  • Excellent relationships, networker skills.
  • Used to lead teams and work in a matrix organization with several stakeholders.
  • Used to present to senior management.
  • Well experienced in commercial negotiations
  • Well experienced with oil and gas Industry.
  • Well experienced in sales.  

 

Preferred 

  • Master of Business Administration, Master of Sales and Marketing or Business law.
  • Connections with the Power cable/renewable companies.
  • Connection within the petrochemical industry.
  • Experienced in using Power BI
  • Great at motivate and lead people.
  • Enquiring mind of our products and services.
  • Creative in identifying new business opportunities.
