Here, you will play an important role at the forefront of our growth strategy, supporting the maintenance and development of our efficient BD and Sales mechanism, to ensure a unique customer experience from day one. 

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Create, maintain, and customize tender material and presentations towards customers.
  • Coordinate and communicate with all relevant stakeholders for the completion of tenders to ensure a seamless delivery.
  • Maintain and develop the company’s CRM and provide advanced support to users.
  • Digital marketing support, including Market Intelligence and Analysis (LinkedIn Navigator, HIS, web research etc.).
  • Sales infrastructure management, including training and support to the BD members on global sales processes and systems.
  • Create and maintain reports regarding sales.
  • Monitor and report KPI progress.
  • Create budgets for new customers, and follow-up on crew budgets.
  • Analyze new business opportunities and ensure involved stakeholders understand tender requirements and deliver necessary material.
  • Analyze and recommend tender and proposal strategies for new business opportunities.
  • Ensure to maintain communication with customers and arrange new meetings.
  • Provide lists of potential new customers.
  • Participate in shipping events.
Qualifications and competencies:
  • Experience in the maritime industry or accounting is preferred. 
  • Sales or business development experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in relevant IT software systems.
  • Good written and oral English skills.
  • Based on the right candidate's qualifications, the position may be titled as either Business Development Officer or Business Development Specialist.

  • Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
