Test Development Engineer / Technician

We are currently seeking Test Development Engineer / Technician to join our Test and Automation team at Kongsberg Discovery. Our team oversees the testing of a wide range of acoustic transducers. In this role, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining LabVIEW-based software utilized by our testing and automation specialists. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our production testing systems, as well as contribute to the development of new test systems.

Responsibilities

• Update, maintain and troubleshoot LabVIEW software.
• Follow established version control strategy.
• Assist software test developers.
  
  

Qualifications and experience

• Certificate of apprenticeship, technical college or Bachelor in electronics, automation or similar.
• Experience with LabVIEW and PXI systems is required.
• Electronics knowledge is an advantage.
• Curiosity about Python/C# is an advantage.
• Fluent communication in Norwegian and English languages.
