This role is part of the People & Organisation (P&O) Competence & Learning department.

Who are we looking for?

  • We are seeking a senior professional who can handle technological changes in education and adapt quickly to new ways of learning. The ideal candidate will know about learning technology like Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) and be good at planning and carrying out projects. You will also be skilled in both communication and graphic design and be able to explain complex ideas effectively.
  • If you have expertise or experience in specific areas in HR; pedagogic, project, business, or others, we encourage you to highlight these in your application. Your unique skills and experiences will be essential to our team's success.
  • In this role, you'll work closely with other P&O departments, supporting managers in learning projects across Aker BP. You'll help shape our learning strategies, ensure compliance with competence requirements, and analyze important data.


Typical work tasks can be:

  • Operational delivery in our ongoing development programs
  • Provide strategic and operational support and facilitate different learning programs, addressing day-to-day related activities and inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to support learning and development.
  • Execute competence strategies and compliance.
  • Develop in house learning towards our systems.
  • Manage and optimize learning journeys in systems.
  • Focus on optimizing how we work with learning and development towards our strategy.
  • Preparing for the future:
  • Shaping and forming a learning culture in Aker BP.
  • Proactive approach to understanding the future trends, needs and innovations on learning and development.


Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor/ master's degree within preferably business administration, change management, marketing and/or project management.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience within development, learning and/or competence.
  • Experience within learning systems and tools.
  • Broad experience in Microsoft 365.
  • Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
