We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President of Human resources to join our senior Management team.

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You have a master's degree in appropriate subject. Significant experience in senior HR roles in multinational companies. Very good working knowledge of all human resource management processes
  • You have excellent strategical and analytical skills and ability to identify problems as well as drive appropriate solutions.
  • You have working knowledge of; employment law, union and HSE representatives, collective bargain agreements and working practices across regions.
  • You have a strong team leadership skills and high integrity, with specific focus on driving collaboration cross functionally.
  • You have a strong business acumen; able to see the big picture and monitories all aspects.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset and with attention to detail.
  • You are service-minded and take full ownership and responsibility of all tasks.
  • You hold the capability to work with a diverse pool of stakeholders across borders and cultures and to inspire and build trusted relationships.
  • You are a goal-oriented self-starter that can work independently, as part of a team and pull in resources as required - thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels in English and Norwegian
  • Results orientated, innovative, strong work ethic and desire to achieve excellence.




In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Provide professional leadership, support, and development to HR staff, in order to increase knowledge, share best practice and to ensure that relevant professional standards are met.
  • Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Reward and Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.
  • Ensure managers are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access appropriate guidance and information to manage workforce issues.
  • Ensure that the company complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation.
  • Work with functional HR teams to drive HR operational excellence, adopt data-driven decision making and implement best practices.
  • Drive strong collaboration with cross functional teams, both within own department and other business areas
  • Produce regular reports, metrics, analysis, compensation and benefits including communication, trend and salary benchmark analysis and recommendations.
  • Drive employee engagement and performance management to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop, implement, and review policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Performance management of own direct reports; setting KPI's for each unit and regular follow up on performance. Understanding the meaning of accountability.
  • Support the short, medium- and long-term workforce planning and resource allocation to ensure that the group has the right capabilities, talents, and leaders.
  • Support in work council and trade unions relations and negotiations.
  • Overall responsibility for employee-related documentation in compliance with local legislation.
  • Actively contribute to the People management team discussions
  • Contribute towards fostering the desired culture and ensure that we live the culture, tone, and values of the company.
  • Actively participate in and drive continuous improvement and identify and eliminate barriers to accuracy, productivity, and quality
